About Textverified
Textverified sells US numbers only. It says its numbers are real US mobile lines on physical SIMs, lists about 2,400 services, and offers SMS verification, voice-call verification and rentals from 1 day to 1 year. It has an API and takes cards and crypto.
For some payment apps, such as PayPal and Venmo, Textverified listed voice verification only, not SMS, on the day we checked.
When Textverified is the better choice
- The app verifies by phone call, not text.
- You want to keep a US number for months or a year.
- You only ever need US numbers and value one long list of supported services.
When SMS Pin Verify is the better choice
- You want to pay per code and only when the code arrives: a number with no code expires after 15 minutes at no cost.
- The app may ask for a code again, and you want to keep the same USA number for 3, 7, 14 or 25 days (from $1.00).
- You want several USA routes per app, so if one is out of stock or a code does not come, you can try another at a different price.
- You want to test first with free numbers before you pay.
